T-Shirts And The Screen Print Process
The T-Shirt (or Tee) named after it’s characteristic T shape made with the body and arms, originated in the US over 100 years ago and was first worn as an under garment. Today T-Shirts are one of the most globally used and cost effective items to promote a brand or event. Typically manufactured from 100% cotton, Midway Clothing stocks the humble T-Shirt for promotional use in over 60 colours.
We offer a traditional screen printing process to apply a logo or design to a T-shirt. Before the production of our clients promotional T-shirts we provide a digital visual of how the finished print will look for them to approve.
Our professional approach not only provides a record of the clients screen print but also provides a crucial final check before commencing production. Depending on the size of the T-Shirt, we can produce screen printed promotional designs up to 35cm wide x 40cm high.
For all garment printing we require artwork to be created in vector format. This means the different coloured components of the design have been outlined and can be subsequently separated into the number of colours in the design. We can use the following files; eps, pdf, ai, psd and these files should be a minimum 300 dpi. It is important to note that the quality of the print is only as good as the original artwork.
